Daniel Sperling

Co-Founder

Daniel grew up in Atlanta, GA and graduated from Emory University. Environmental science classes enabled him to study ecology in locations ranging from Namibia/Botswana and the Amazon Rainforest to the pine forests of Georgia. This work fostered Daniel’s love of nature and transformed his ideas on how we can protect it. With no way to change the past, climate action and environmental stewardship must happen now. This conviction led Daniel to pursue a dual degree in environmental science and finance—Daniel believes that change in the world can be enacted most quickly through the engine of business.

Daniel has worked in many different aspects of the environmental industry. He has installed solar panels that made Montana ranches cleaner and off the grid. He enjoyed a working/learning relationship with an energy plant that turned recycled plastics back into fuel. He contributed to the non-profit work of The Nature Conservancy. Now living in NYC, Daniel is energized by his involvement with startups and is currently working for the New York office of a PropTech startup headquartered out of Zurich, Switzerland.
